| Thanks to the generosity of the local community, during the 2011 Toys for Tots campaign, 17757 toys were distributed to 5590 less fortunate children in this area. We look forward to working with everyone again in 2012. Thank you.

.jpg) The Marine Corps League Detachment 1070, has been assisting the Marine Corps Reserve with Toys For Tots since it became a detachment. we took over the Campaign in 2008, when the local Reserve unit was moved to Jacksonville.
In 2009 we collected or purchased almost 20500 toys, books and bikes, for distribution to 6,500 needy children.
With 246 drop-off sites. A record making accomplishment, Doubeling previous years efforts.
This year , with your help we hope to exceed that. To do so, we need everyone in New Hanover County to do his or her part.
If you have a civic club, business, church or are just an individual wanting to help needy children. contact us about becomming a drop-off location, making a monetary donation or becomming a volunteer during our campaign.
We could really use your help.
If you need help providing for your child's Christmas this year, please contact New Hanover Salvation Army for details as to how to qualify for our toy distribution.
